Puma increased its sales and profits in the third quarter
In the second quarter, revenue fell further and the company was loss-making.
According to a statement published on its website on Wednesday, Puma generated sales of 1.583 billion euros in the third quarter, up 7.2 percent from 1.477 billion euros in the third quarter of 2019.
Adjusted for exchange rate effects, revenue increased by 13.3 percent. In the second quarter, Puma’s sales were still 30.7 percent lower than in the previous year exchange rate effect adjusted.
In the third quarter, Puma sales increased by 20.7 percent in the U.S. market, by 17.7 percent in the EMEA region and by1.9 percent in Asia. (MTI)
