The Coop Group increased its revenues last year
The Coop Group reached 560 billion HUF revenues in 2014, compared to the 550 billion HUF of 2013 – the Co-op Hungary Zrt. announced on Wednesday after the company's general meeting. Data about the group's profits were not disclosed.
Tóth Géza, CEO of the Co-op Hungary Zrt. in the company’s statement pointed out that last year the Coop stores showed a slight decrease in turnover, mainly due to the loss in tobacco sales.
Tóth Géza emphasized that a significant increase occured in the number of regular customers. The number of customers who have cards also increased. This year their number is expected to reach one million.
