The income generating capacity of the honey sector should be increased

Hungarian honey, in terms of its quality, belongs to the highest category in the world, and it could significantly increase the income generation capacity of the honey industry – Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture said in Siófok on Friday.

The head of the board emphasized at the congress of the Hungarian Association of Professional Beekeepers that it is no longer sustainable that most of the honey produced in Hungary are sold in barrels, and beekeepers must show that they can work together in production and sales. (MTI)
