Growing Hungarian wine support in the Common Agricultural Policy
Hungarian wineries will receive 29 million euros – more than 8.5 billion HUF in the next financial period of the Common Agricultural Policy (KAP), that will begin in 2014 – informed the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) MTI on Friday.
It is planned that the European Union in 2015 will terminate the regulations on planting, which would favor the mass producers of wine. Therefore, the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) opposed to the liberalization of grape planting, in full agreement with the trade unions – said Czerván György, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Rural Development, responsible for agri-management.
