The public health product charges may bring rising inflation and a decrease in turnover
The trade does not have enough reserves to be able to “swallow” additional costs so – unless the manufacturers may assume part of the burden – it is expected that the consumers will have to pay the “chips tax” – told Vámos György, the Secretary-General of National Trade Association to Népszabadság.
He added, that the idea not necessarily will be profitable for the state, because what the tax can bring, the VAT decrease due to the expected reduction in traffic may take – reports Népszabadság Online.
