Growing security awareness in online shopping
According to the latest survey by Pepita.hu, Hungarian online shoppers are becoming increasingly aware of the need to protect their personal data and use secure payment solutions.

Half of shoppers still prefer to pay by cash on delivery, while online payment solutions such as PayPal and Revolut are increasingly popular among 18-35 year olds, with more than 40% of them open to such digital payment methods. “Pepita.hu’s payment statistics also indicate this trend, as 68% of our transactions this year were paid by cash on delivery, 30% were paid online using a debit card and 2% by bank transfer”, told József Dorcsinecz, co-founder of Pepita.hu. //
