Growth by SPAR group
Revenues of the Spar group were up by 6.3 percent in 2008, reaching EUR 27 billion. Consolidated revenues of the Hungarian SPAR chain were up by 31.5 percent in 2008, totalling HUF 374.17. SPAR Magyarország Kft. completed the biggest acquisition in its history in 2008 by taking over the Plus chain.
