The proportion of companies owned or run by women is increasing
Today, compared to the 10 percent in 2010, 14 percent of domestic businesses are owned or managed by women – origo wrote after Népszava, on the basis of the statement of Opten, business information provider.
However, the proportion of male-only companies still stands at 50 percent. The proportion of “mixed” companies made up of women and men is gradually declining.
There is a greater presence of ladies among owners than among those entitled to sign up. The proportion of women among the self-employed is over 40 percent, according to the survey. (origo)
