Wal-Mart's profit has increased
Wal-Mart reported a profit growth for the third quarter, that was ended in October. The world's largest retailer has increased its profits on an annual comparision by 2.8 percent, to 3.74 billion USD, while the revenue of 115.69 billion USD, fell short of expectations
Wal -Mart's international sales rose by 0.2 percent. Currently, the department store chain is re-planning its strategy to achieve stronger growth. In October, the company has delayed its entry into the Indian market, and closed 50 underperforming stores in China and in Brazil. (MTI Eco, Világgazdaság Online)
