Accommodation providers expect growth in the next three months
In the next three months, compared to the same period of the previous year, 50 percent of accommodation providers expect an increase in the number of guest nights, 46 percent expect stagnation, and only 4 percent expect a decline, according to the June data of the representative Tourism Business Index (tki), which covers all sub-sectors of tourism, the Tourism Office announced. and the National Association of Hospitality Employers (VIMOSZ), and the GKI Economic Research Institute. According to the statement sent to MTI, those working in the hospitality industry are slightly less optimistic about the future than accommodation providers, because 38 percent of them expect an increase in traffic, in May this proportion was still 63 percent. While 52 percent predict stagnation and 10 percent a decline.
