PC sales increased in the second quarter in the world
PC sales increased in the second quarter in the world on an annualized basis due to increased demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the rate of expansion slowed compared to previous quarters.
Worldwide sales of personal computers rose 13.2 percent to 83.6 million in the three months to the end of June, according to data posted on the website of the IT and telecommunications market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC) in the United States. Year-on-year, an increase of 55.9 percent was recorded in the first quarter and 25.8 percent in the last quarter of last year. (MTI)
