The number of guest nights grew in Romania
In the first four months, the number of guest nights grew by 7.3 percent in Romania, compared to the same period of last year, according to the Romanian statistical institute.
The number of guest nights at commercial accommodation was 5.47 million, of which 77 percent was spent by Romanian tourists. The number of guest nights spent by foreign tourists grew by 5.5 percent to 1.26 million. The average occupancy rate in Romania was 22.4 percent, 0.4 percentage points higher than in the first four months of last year. (MTI)
