Swiss watch exports increased
Switzerland’s watch exports rose year-on-year in December, partly due to the expanding Chinese demand, as well as being one working day more in the last month of last year, compared to a year before and due to the low base.
According to data from the Swiss watchmaking association (FHS) website, exports in December worth 1 billion 726 million francs, 5.8 percent higher than a year before.
In November, a 3.5 percent decline was recorded. (MTI)
