Germany’s exports increased in December
Germany’s exports increased in December. According to preliminary data released by the German statistical office (Destatis) on Tuesday, the value of exports increased by 0.1 percent to 107.3 billion euros in December compared to the previous month, seasonally and calendar adjusted. Analysts expected a 1.0 percent drop after a 2.3 percent rise in November.
The value of imports decreased by 0.1 percent to 91.3 billion euros. Analysts expected a much stronger decline of 1.1 percent after a 5.4 percent increase, measured in November. (MTI)
