More money paid to farmers as damage compensation

Last year farmers took out insurance policies in the value of HUF 13.2 billion, in order to be protected from damage caused by the weather – informed NAK. In these insurance schemes maximum 65 percent of the insurance fee can be reclaimed by farmers. Fee compensations are increasingly popular, last year the value of such contracts was HUF 7.9 billion, so those affected could reclaim about HUF 4 billion.
