Air cargo and passenger traffic increased in 2016
According to the data of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), air freight grew by 3.8 percent, while passenger traffic increased by 6.3 percent in 2016 compared to the previous year.
According to the communication of the Montreal-based IATA trade organization, the cargo tonne-km performance increased by 3.8 percent, compared to 2015, which is almost a double rate of growth than the average 2 percent growth rate of the than past five years. (MTI)
