Euro area’s industrial production increased in January
Industrial production of the Euro area and the EU increased in January on a monthly comparision – announced the European Union's statistical office, Eurostat, on Wednesday.
In January, the industrial production of both the euro area and the EU27 rose by 0.2 percent, compared to December.
In December, industrial output in the euro area decreased by a monthly 1.1 percent, while the industrial production of the EU fell by a monthly 1 percent.
On a monthly comparision, euro zone’s industrial production increased for the first time since last October, while the EU increase occurred the last time in August last year.
On an annual comparision Euro zone’s industrial output decreased by 1.2 percent, the EU's industrial production fell by 1 percent. (MTI)
