Euro zone’s GDP increased in the second quarter
Compared to the first quarter, Euro zone’s GDP increased in the second quarter, while it was decreased compared to a year earlier – the EU's statistical office, the Eurostat published on Wednesday.
According to the second preliminary estimate, compared to the previous quarter, the gross domestic product (GDP) increased in the 17-member eurozone by 0.3 percent, while in the European Union's 27 member states by 0.4 percent in the second quarter. Croatia’s (28th member) datas were not included. (MTI)
