Euro zone’s economy Increased, but industrial production decreased
Instead of the expected growth, the industrial production of the euro zone decreased in September – reports Eurostat, the statistics office of the European Union. The decline is the biggest since March 2009.
On a monthly comparision, industrial production decreased by 0.9 percent, after the 1 percent increase of August. The experts expected 0.3 percent increase for September.
On an annual basis, industrial production grew by 5.2 percent, after the 7.9 percent of August. The analysts expected a 7.3 percent increase – reports Népszabadság Online.
