A growth in the trade surplus of the euro zone and the EU
The trade surplus of the euro zone and the EU increased in June as well as in the first half of the year – Eurostat announced.
The trade surplus of the 19 Member States of the euro zone in June was 26.4 billion euros, compared with last year’s 16.0 billion euros.
In June, the export of the euro area was 182.7 billion euros, 12 percent higher than the 162.7 billion euros of a year before. The import amounted to 156.4 billion euros, which is 7 percent higher than the 146.7 billion euros of June 2014. (MTI)
