U.S. retail sales increased in February

US retail sales grew moderately in February
The U.S. Department of Commerce said on Wednesday that the seasonally and calendar-adjusted value of retail sales and hospitality stood at 658.1 billion USD in February, up 0.3 percent from January, when a 4.9 percent increase was recorded. Analysts expected a minimally larger 0.4 percent monthly increase in retail sales for February. (MTI)
