Waberer’s third quarter sales increased
The sales revenue of Waberer’s International in the third quarter of 2022 increased by 18.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 174.6 million euros, in the first 9 months of the year the sales revenue of the company group was 506.7 million euros, 15.1 percent higher than in the same period of 2021 – the company announced on Monday on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT).
Earnings before regular interest and taxes (EBIT) reached 9.7 million euros at group level in the third quarter of this year, which represents a 46 percent improvement compared to the same period in 2021 and the second highest quarterly value since 2018. The group’s 9-month cumulative EBIT was 24.5 million euros, an increase of 29.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Regular net profit increased to 4.1 million euros in the third quarter of 2022, an improvement of 0.8 million euros compared to last year’s base. According to the management’s assessment, if the market conditions do not drastically deteriorate in the remaining 2 months, a profit before tax and interest of over 30 million euros can be achieved, surpassing the previously announced annual EBIT target. However, in the taxable profit, the result is expected to be below last year’s value as a result of rising interest costs and changes in the euro/forint exchange rate – mostly technical – they added.
