The number of guest nights increased in Romania
In the first four months of this year, the number of guest nights increased by 4.8 percent to 5.734 million, compared to the same period of last year, according to the data of the Romanian National Statistical Institute.
Romanian tourists spent almost 77 percent of the guest nights, 4,408 million guest nights, while foreigners spent 1,325 million guest nights, which is 5.5 percent more than in the previous year.
Most of the guest nights were spent in Bucharest (976 thousand), followed by Brasov (767 thousand), Prahova (337 thousand), and Cluj county with 307 thousand guest nights. (MTI)
