The Slovakian and Hungarian industry both increased in January
According to the Slovakian Statistical Office; the Slovakian industrial production in January increased by 19.3% compared with a year earlier said. The Hungarian Central Statistical reported a 4% growth for January, adjusted from workday effect by 5.7%.
In January, the Slovakian industrial productiont increased for the third consecutive month. The Slovak GDP in 2009, decreased by 4.7 percent. Compared to December, industrial production increased by 4.4 percent in January – reports MTI.
In Hungary, industrial production increased by 1 percent, compared to the same period of last year and adjusted from workday effect, decreased by 1.4 percent – reports privatbankar.hu.
