Salami’s market share rose
Salami retail sales rose by 8 percent this January-March from the base period twelve months before and surpassed HUF 8 billion.
On the contrary, the Nielsen Retail Index registered minus 10 percent in sausage sales; however, sales were still above the HUF 10 billion threshold. Salami volume sales grew by 1 percent, but sausage sales plummeted by 16 percent. Meat product sales in general were down 1 percent and valued at HUF 73 billion. In volume sales minus 8 percent was registered.Related news
