Starbucks's profit rises
The Seattle-based coffee shop operator reported that its fiscal second-quarter profit rose more than 18%.
Starbucks realized $2.26 billion revenue. The company opened
560 stores in its second quarter; it now has 13,728 locations in 39 countries.
Nearly 4,000 of those locations are outside the U.S. Starbucks plans to open
some 2,400 new stores around the world in 2007, soon in Hungary too.
