Beer consumption increased in Hungary
Hungarians drank more beer last year than in the previous year: the consumption increased by 4 percent – the Association of Hungarian Brewers (AHB) told MTI on Wednesday. The non-alcoholic beer consumption has fallen almost to half.
The domestic sales of the brewers exceeded 6.1 million hectoliters last year. The Hungarian beer industry’s tax and social contribution taxes were 7 percent more than in the previous year, it has exceeded 71 billion HUF. (MTI)
