Romanian retail sales increased
According to raw data, the volume of retail sales in Romania increased by 5 percent in the first four months of this year compared to the same period last year, the Romanian National Statistics Institute said.
According to the seasonally and calendar-adjusted value, the increase was 6.9 percent during the period under review.
The expansion, according to raw data, was mainly due to fuel sales, which rose 10.2 percent, with non-food sales up 6.6 percent, while sales of food, beverages and tobacco products rose just 0.6 percent. (MTI)
