Romanian retail sales increased
In the first eleven months of last year, Romanian retail sales increased by 7 percent, compared to the same periodof last year – the Romanian National Institute of Statistics announced on Tuesday.
Between January and November, retail sales grew by 7 percent, both according to the raw data and seasonally and calendar-adjusted.
The increase was mainly due to non-food sales, which increased by 8.5 percent. Fuel sales accelerated by 6.6 percent, and food, beverages and tobacco sales increased by 5.6 percent. (MTI)
