Nestlé's revenue has increased in the first quarter
The world's leading food producer, the Swiss-based Nestle, increased its sales by 4.4 percent in this year's first quarter.
Its revenues increased to 26.28 billion Swiss francs (18.34 billion euros) during the period, which is a good performance in this difficult economic environment.
Nestlé achieved a 10.4 billion Swiss francs (7.1 billion euros) after tax result last year. Annual sales were 108 billion Swiss francs (73.71 billion euros) in 2009 – reports MTI Eco.
