Hungarian hotel revenues increased in January-May
According to the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ), hotel room revenues increased in Hungary during the first five months of the year, compared to the past year, but still only on the levels of year 2007 and 2008.
According to the most recent survey of the STR Global tourism market research company, on a national level between January – May 2012 the gross hotel room revenues of hotels were 46.102 billion HUF, 8.3 percent higher, compared to the previous year’s datas and were 3.7 percent higher than the 44.5 billion HUF of 2008.
