Retail sales increased in the Czech Republic
In April, retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 6.9 percent year-on-year. In March, this indicator was 4.8 percent – the Czech Statistical Office announced.
The statisticians drew attention to the fact that basically the Easter holidays are behind the acceleration in April. Last year, Easter was in March.
In a monthly comparison, the seasonally adjusted April increase was 0.2 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
