Household savings have increased
The population has saved a lot of money again, but households had to face a loss of money with risky investments – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
Households saved nearly 1300 billion forints in the first half of the year, with a total of 800 billion for the second quarter, according to the latest data of the National Bank of Hungary. In addition to the saved money, yields also boosted savings, with about 670 billion forints in six months, so households’ financial assets rose to a new record of 49,934.8 billion forints.
