Employment increased in the European Union
Last year employment increased in the European Union and rose to a record level among women and people over the age of 55, from the peak measured in 2005 – Eurostat’s figures was published on Tuesday.
According to the European Union's statistical office, the employment rate of the population of people aged 20-64 in 2015 was 70.1 percent, compared to the 69.2 percent of last year, but was below the 70.3 percent peak of 2008. (MTI)
