The level of inflation was 5.6 percent in June
In June consumer prices were 5.6 percent higher than a year before. Compared with May 2012, prices only elevated by 0.1 percent and food prices were down 0.1 percent. In comparison with June 2011, the price of food grew below the average, by 5 percent. From May 2012 the price of tobacco products and services increased, fuel prices dropped, consumer durables and food products also became cheaper. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products cost 0.7 percent more and for services we had to pay 0.5 percent more. The monthly pensioner consumer price index climbed 0.1 percent and the annual index upped 5.5 percent.
