Colgate-Palmolive’s after-tax profit increased in the last quarter

The Colgate-Palmolive beauty company’s fourth quarter after-tax profit in 2012 was slightly above the expectations. After-tax profit increased by 1.4 percent, compared to last year, partly due to the implemented price increases.

According to datas published by the company on Thursday, in the three months ended in late December the Colgate-Palmolive reached 598 million, USD after-tax profit, 1.26 USD per share, compared to the previous year’s 590 million USD, or 1.21 USD per share profit. (MTI
