The number of domestic overnight stays have increased

The results of the commercial accommodations in 2012 even exceeding the datas of the 2011 record year. Domestic tourism also played an important role in the growth – the Hungarian National Tourism (MT) Ltd. writes in its online newsletter refeerring to the preliminary datas  of the Central Statistics Office (KSH).

The newsletter describes: in 2012 the number of guests in the commercial accommodations increased by 3.6 percent to 8.3 million, while the number of guest nights rose by 4.8 percent to 21.6 million nights, compared to the previous year. The gross revenues of the accommodations grew by 8.2 percent to 152 billion HUF.  (MTI)
