Increased ferry traffic on the Lake Balaton

The ferry traffic of the Balaton Shipping Co. increased by 6-7 percent, the revenues of the sailing business increased by 8 percent, but passenger ship traffic decreased by 5-7 percent in the first seven months, compared with a year earlier – told Horváth Gyula Chief Executive Officer to MTI on Friday.

At the public accommodations of the shipping company – two campsites and a hotel – the total number of guest nights increased by 3 percent, within the hotel's traffic increased by 17 percent – reports MTI.
