Women winemakers then and now
While in ancient times women did not allowed to serve wine, today more and more women become winemakers.
Although the women are biologically more capable to test wines, the significant majority are men in the industry.
An important element in the history of wine is the relationship with women. The ancient Greeks divorced, or even punished the women by death, if they were caught drinking wine.
