The number of domestic corporate mergers and acquisitions increased
The number of domestic corporate mergers and acquisitions increased in the first half of 2011 compared to the same period of last year – shows the latest survey of Ernst & Young.
According to the Communication; on the basis of the number of transactions Hungary is in the Top 3 after Poland and Turkey on a regional level.
In the first half of this year, the number of transactions in Hungary was 69. This is a 35 percent increase, compared to the 51 transactions of a year ago. The increase was significantly higher compared to the experienced average 5 percent of the observed countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey) – reports MTI.
