NMHH: more than half of the commercial television shows contain product placements
More than half of the programs of the commercial broadcasters contain product placements in addition to trade advertisings – the National Media and Communications Authority’s (NMHH) report investigating the second quarter of 2013 shows.
According to the document, the two leading commercial TV broadcasters popularized a total of 1600 brands with product placements.
2810 product placements could be seen on TV2, while 2079 product placements could be seen on the RTL Klub. Product placements occurred in 69 percent of the programs of TV2, while this ratio at RTL Klub is 51 percent. (MTI)
