NKFH: potato chips recalled due to foreign substances
The distributor has recalled Alnatura potato chips from circulation because the product may contain wood chips – the notice published on the website of the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH) on Tuesday reads.
The product, available in 125-gram packages, is distributed by Müller Drogéria Magyarország Bt., manufactured by Yellow Chips B.V. in the Netherlands, with a shelf life of 11 October 2025.
According to the announcement, a self-inspection test revealed the contamination.
They added that the distributor, in cooperation with the NKFH, immediately took the necessary steps within its own jurisdiction and ensured the product was recalled. The authority is monitoring the company’s actions.
