NKFH: Müller Drogéria recalled 250 gram SilaVit Indian psyllium seed shells
Due to the possible presence of salmonella, Müller Drogéria Magyarország Bt. has recalled 250 grams of SilaVit Indian psyllium seed husks with a best-before date of November 18, 2026, the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH) announced to MTI on Friday.
According to the announcement, an examination carried out during the manufacturer’s self-inspection revealed contamination in the batch – the announcement said.
In cooperation with the NKFH, the company immediately took the necessary measures within its own jurisdiction, ensuring the withdrawal of the objectionable batch from circulation and its recall from consumers.
The measures taken by the company and the further fate of the recalled products – destruction or removal – are being monitored by the authority – the NKFH informed.
In the announcement, the authority asks anyone who has purchased the recalled product not to consume it.
