NIÜ: applications are open again for the call to support the innovation capacity of SMEs
Applications are now open for the GINOP Plusz call for proposals to support the innovation capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which is co-financed by the European Union, the National Innovation Agency (NIÜ) announced to MTI on Thursday.
It was highlighted that the aim of the SME innovation program, the largest in recent years with a budget of 75 billion forints, is to strengthen the innovation processes of micro and small enterprises.
The call includes applications for production and manufacturing process innovation activities, marketing and/or sales innovation, organizational innovation, and logistics innovation activities.
SMEs with 3-49 employees can apply for the non-refundable support in a minimum amount of 20 million forints and a maximum of 50 million forints, it was announced.
It was recalled that since the call last November, more than 170 companies have been awarded a total of approximately 7.5 billion forints in support.
The tender will be announced in several stages, with applications for the next stage being open until April 22, 2025, and for the third stage until September 23, 2025. To participate in the tender, it is necessary to use the “Innovation Training” service of the National Innovation Agency, the NIÜ informed.
