NIS2: most Hungarian companies are still unprepared
According to recent research by ServerElite, one of Hungary’s leading server market players, a large proportion of Hungarian companies aren’t prepared to comply with NIS2, the cybersecurity directive adopted and published by the EU in 2022.

NIS2 is aimed to ensure that EU Member States possess harmonized and high-level capabilities to strengthen cybersecurity resilience

Although the 31 December 2025 deadline has been known for a long time, 71% still don’t even have a contract with an auditing company. According to Andrea Marosán, the CEO of ServerElite, procrastination poses a serious cybersecurity risk.
