No more disposable cutlery in Migros stores
Single-use plastic cutlery will disappear from all stores of Swiss supermarket chain Migros by the end of the year. From 1 November both immediate consumption products and plastic cutlery available at checkouts are discarded. Migros will replace the former with more sustainable, single-use wooden and bamboo forks, knives and spoons. Disposable cutlery can be purchased at points of sale for CHF 0.10.
