There is no uniform position over Sunday closure
There are two law proposals that want the shops to be closed on Sundays. One was submittede by the MPs of the KDNP, but adoption is still not sure.
The KDNP resubmitted its last year law proposal over the free Sunday unchanged to the parliament. Last week, five MPs of the Jobbik also submitted a proposal, over the necessary changes to ensure the free Sunday.
The European Directive says that one rest day is compulsory per week, but each Member State has to decide which one is – reports Origo.
