Nielsen: four out of ten people pay with credit cards
In everyday spendings, four out of ten Hungarians prefer credit cards. The majority – 57 percent would like to use cash. In essence, Hungarians are focusing on these two payment methods – Nielsen consumer survey information and knowledge services company’ survey carried out in sixty countries shows.
Among the examined thirty-one in eight European countries, cash is used in larger proportion when purchasing than in Hungary. The proportion of Greeks for example is 84 percent. followed by the Ukrainians with 71 percent. The smallest ratio in this regard, can be found at the French and at the Norwegians with 15-15 percent.
