Nielsen: Consumer Confidence in Hungary is in depths
Hungary has the lowest consumer confidence index for five consecutive quarters, among the worldwide tested fifty-eight countries.
Although a slight improvement occurred, tthird-quarter index is 37 points, which is 7 points higher than the second quarter’s index. The index Worldwide, improved by an average of 1 point compared to the second quarter, so the third quarter index is 92 points. The European average index is 74 points, which also improved by 1 point, compared to the second quarter. (The index indicates optimism above 100 points and pessimism below).
