Nielsen: Costumers purchased easter sweets for about 3.3 billion HUF last year
Hungarian food retail increased its turnover on the field of Easter sweets: almost 900 tons of chocolate bunnies, eggs and other holiday sweets were sold in teh shops in the March-April period of 2012, worth approx. 3.3 billion HUF – the summary of the latest research of the Nielsen market research company contains.
In terms of value 10 percent more, in terms of volume 7 percent more was sold than in the same period of the previous year – shows Nielsen’s Retail Index. According to the communication chocolate bunnies (41 percent share ratio) and egg figurines (38 percent share ratio) are further dominating the markets.
